Commissioned by the main organizer, the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce, the Australia Chinese Energy and Resources Association (ACERA) successfully co-hosted the Energy Forum at PCEC on 14 October 2025, as part of the Australia–New Zealand–Shenzhen Business Summit & Expo!

Mr. Jai Thomas, Deputy Director General – Coordinator of Energy, representing Hon. Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA, Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation; Manufacturing; Skills and TAFE; Pilbara, delivered a keynote address.

Representatives from Shenzhen Energy, SANY Group, and Jiangling Motors shared insightful presentations. The session concluded with a dynamic panel discussion, where industry experts exchanged views and explored opportunities for deeper cooperation between Australia and China. The forum received an enthusiastic response from the audience and concluded successfully.

Congratulations to ACERA on receiving the Australia–China Friendship Award at the “Australia–China Friendship Night” gala dinner — a recognition of our ongoing efforts to foster friendship between the two nations and to build a collaborative bridge for business cooperation and mutual growth in the energy and resources sector.

Special thanks to the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce and the Australia China Friendship Society for their trust and strong support, to all distinguished guests for their enthusiastic participation, and to our team members for their dedicated efforts.
We look forward to deepening collaboration, driving innovation, and advancing a sustainable energy future together.
