ACERA Joins China National Day Celebrations in Perth

On 6 October 2026, ACERA representatives attended a reception at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the enduring Australia–China relationship.

Co-hosted by the Australia China Business Council WA and the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (Perth Branch), the event brought together guests from Western Australia’s business, government, education and cultural communities. Distinguished attendees included WA Premier Roger Cook, Acting Chinese Consul General in Perth Wang Fengzhong, WA Opposition Leader Basil Zempilas, ACBC WA President James Clarke and CCCA Perth Branch President Zhou Feng.

ACERA was pleased to join the celebrations, reconnect with friends and build new connections. The evening highlighted the friendship and shared opportunities that continue to strengthen cooperation between Australia and China.
