2025 Australia-China LNG Forum Concludes Successfully

On February 25, 2025, the 2025 Australia-China LNG Forum, hosted by the Australia-China Energy and Resources Association (ACERA) in collaboration with the China Overseas Development Association, the Australia China Business Council (WA Branch), and the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (WA Branch), successfully concluded at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Themed "Working Together to Address Change and Enhance Cooperation," the forum attracted over 100 experts, scholars, corporate representatives, and government officials from the energy sectors of both China and Australia. Senior leaders from China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), Guangdong Dapeng LNG, China LNG Shipping, and ENN Energy travelled from China to attend the forum. They engaged in discussions about the future development of the LNG industry, the current state of Australia-China LNG cooperation, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration. The forum not only introduced specific collaborative projects opportunities but also saw participating companies express clear interest in investing in Australia's oil and gas sector.

At the conclusion of the forum, attendees responded enthusiastically, unanimously praising the event for its thorough preparation. Many noted that the topics and speakers were highly relevant to current industry trends and offered insightful perspectives.
