ACERA SEMINAR III, Australian Standards

ACERA has organised another successful seminar on Thursday 14th May entitled “Oil & Mining Equipment Exports to Australia: Challenges with Quarantine and Industry Standards” at Stirling Room Hilton Hotel. Ms Sun Anlin, Chinese Acting Consul General delivered a speech on Bilateral Trade and Ms Nancy Gordon, Australian Consul General based in Chengdu on her midterm visit to Perth, delivered a talk on the trade relations and she speaks fluent Chinese. Mr. Michael Carter, State Director Austrade, provided us some insights on Free Trade Agreement. Mr Wing Kee Ho, Country manager for ABS, spent 37 years with ABS in HK, China and Australia and was in charge of All ABS classifications, Certification and Validation activities of offshore oil & gas facility. He delivered very comprehensive Australia industry standards. Mr Tyler Huang, Lab manager of SGS Australia and he worked for SBS China for 6 years and Mineral Lab Supervisor at CIQ. He provided us the insights of Australia trade standards.
