ACERA Seminar Series III: Australian Standards – 14th May 2015

The Australia Chinese Energy And Resource Association(ACERA) is delighted to invite you to our seminar on Thursday 14 May 2015. We have invited three distinct speakers. First Mr. Michael Carter, State Director Austrade, will provide an overview on bilateral trade. Second ABS Assistant Country Manager for Australia Mr. Wing Kee Ho will share with us insights of Australian industry standards for oil and gas industry.

Mr. Ho spent 37 years with ABS in three main regions, Hong Kong, China and Australia and was inc harge of all ABS Classification, Certification and Validation acitivities of offshore oil and gas facility. Mr. Ho obtained BSc in Naval Architecture from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK and is a member of IEA, RINA and SNAME.

The third speaker is Mr. Tyler Huang Senior Inspection Engineer & Laboratory Manager at SGS Australia, he also worked at SGS China as National Laboratory Manager in China. Mr. Huang also worked for Guangxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau as Laboratory Director.

ACERA is dedicated to providing professional development opportunities to individual and company members through networking, knowledge sharing, technical training, co-operation and business interactions.
